Philips Norelco Bodygroom Shaver Review

For a lot of us guys body hair removal and control is necessary

Are you a hairy gorilla? For a lot of us guys we have some unwanted body hair. Our girlfriends like to joke around about and call us "fury" but for a lot of us we simply either don't want it at all or would rather have much less. But, there's little we can do about it - especially if we are of Mediterranean origin and having lots of body hair runs in our genes. I have fiddled around for many years with lots of different kinds of shavers and always been frustrated not being able to simply trim down my body hair but found that the devices I was using were removing it completely. I don't want to be hairless like a body builder but simply want my body hair under control. This both for sports - especially swimming - and looking good for the ladies. I finally seem to have found a solution - the Philips Norelco Bodygroom Shaver - and would like to share my experience with the product here with you today.

Philips Norelco BG2020 Bodygroom Shaver - gets 9/10 points

Overall I have been extremely satisfied with the product and give it a rating of nine out of ten. I have a somewhat formalized system for rating products and I'll let you know why I took off one point below.

Philips Norelco - can be used everywhere on the body

For now, here are teh Philips Norelco bodygroom shaver's key benefits. First of all it was designed by Philps Norelco to be used all over the body and not just from the neck and head. Most other shaves you'll find on the market are either for your scalp only, face only or body only. Finally there is a product that is meant for all parts of the body, including the chest, arms, legs, back and groin.

Philips shaver allows you to control the closeness of the shave

Also, the Philips Norelco bodygroom shaver comes with three different sized plastic covers just as you'd see at the barber shop. These allow you to control how close to the skin you want your shave. If you want to completely remove your hair simply don't use one of these plastic covers.

Norelco shaver Can be used dry or in the shower

Another key advantage is that the Philips Norelco bodygroom shaver is water-resistant and can therefore be used in the shower. This is a huge advantage if you want to get your shaving and shower done at the same time. However, I prefer to do a dry shave with my Norelco shave then take my shower. This one really is your call.

The hair removal shaver causes little to no skin irritation

One more key advantage to this product is that I've experienced very little skin irritation. With other shavers I've ended up having a slight rash on my skin in the days following the shave. With the Philips Norelco bodygroom shaver you should have little to no rash at all if you keep the chromium stainless steel blades blades clean with the included cleaning brush.

Norelco hair remover's battery life is slightly less than 50 minutes but I still like it

The only area where I'd take off a point or two in my rating of this hair removal product is the battery life. While the Philips Norelco shaver is designed to be used for up to 50 minutes of cordless use I've found that the time is more like 40 minutes. However, this would not keep me from from recommending the product.
