Flip Video Camdorders - Causing a revolution in bloggers' and Internet marketers' video uploading habits

Over the past few years Internet marketing and the habits of Internet surfers have changed dramatically. Currently an ever growing amount of Internet traffic goes directly to video sites - with YouTube.com being the biggest, and videos getting favorable rankings on the search engines. Most online marketers and bloggers have caught onto the importance of video marketing by now. However, some people are behind the times and continue to procrastinate making videos as part of their online campaigns. Flip Mino versus the Flip MinoHD.

After viewing the specs for the Flip Mino and the Flip MinoHD the key differences are that with the Flip MinoHD for $120 more the camcorder can hold twice as much movie time (2 hours) and it can shoot video in HD format. However, the cheaper Flip Mino at $179.99 can offers 4+ hours of recording time versus only two hours for the more expensive Flip MinoHD. Personally, I'm a nature lover and enjoy long walks in the countryside. I'd rather get the more inexpensive unit and be able to have 4+ hours of filming time compared to the Flip MinoHD which gives me only two hours of recording time. Regarding the Flip Ultra, the key difference is that it has a 2" screen and accepts AA batteries. Personally, I'd go with the Flip Mino for $179.99 because a) I don't need HD (although it would be nice!) and b) It can hold up to four hours of video time compared to the Flip Ultra ($20 cheaper) that holds only two hours of video time.

The Flip Mino offers a 1.5" screen and flip-out USB arm that plugs directly into your computer. This camcorder can hold up to 60 minutes of recorded video with its internal memory. The rechargable lithium battery can allow up to 4+ hours of recording time.

The Flip MinoHD camcorder is the world's smallest HD camcorder weighing in at only 3.3 ounces! The camcorder has a USB arm that plugs right into your computers USB port. It has a 2x digital zoom lens and 1.5" screen. It's built-in memory can hold up to two hours of recorded video. The battery is charged via your computer's

The Flip Ultra's screen is slighly bigger than that of the Flip Mino and the Flip MinoHD at 2 inches. The other key difference is that it comes with and can use two size AA batteries. You can, however, buy a rechargable battery separately. Personally, I like the idea of disposable AA batteries as they're easy to buy in the store. The camcorder holds up to two hours of video time which is stored in a 4Gb itermanl memory card. Similar to the Flip Mino and the Flip MinoHD the Flip Ultra has a convenient flip-out USB and comes with a cable which allows you to watch video directly on your television.

The Flip Ultra HD camcorder's can capture up to two hours of video which is saved on an 8Gb internal memory card. The camcorder comes with two re-chargable AA batteries which rechard when the device is plugged into the computer with the flip-out USB arm. Similar to the Flip Ultra the Flip Ultra HD also has a large 2" screen. The device records in 19:9 widescreen HD format at 720p (1280 x 720) and the video can be viewed directly on a HD television with HDMI cables which are sold separately.
